Our Mission
Every developer building on QuickBooks Online faces the same problem: their sandbox has 3 invoices and 2 customers. Real QBO companies have thousands of transactions spanning multiple entity types with complex relationships. EasyTestData bridges that gap by generating financially coherent, industry-specific test data that mirrors real-world accounting.
Open-Source Philosophy
We believe developer tools should be open and transparent. The core generation engine, CLI, JavaScript SDK, and accounting adapter interface are all open source under the Apache 2.0 license. You can generate data locally, self-host the full platform, or contribute templates and adapters.
The managed Cloud platform adds QBO OAuth integration, team collaboration, web UI, API keys, job management, and automatic updates — so you can focus on building instead of managing infrastructure.
We welcome contributions: new industry templates, scenario presets, accounting platform adapters (Xero, FreshBooks, Wave), and bug fixes. See our GitHub repository to get started.
