Terms of Service

Effective Date: February 24, 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the EasyTestData service ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

EasyTestData is a SaaS platform that generates synthetic financial data and loads it into QuickBooks Online ("QBO") sandbox environments for testing purposes. The Service includes:

  • Synthetic data generation using industry templates and scenario presets
  • Loading generated data into connected QBO companies via the Intuit API
  • Data export in JSON and CSV formats
  • Team collaboration and API access features

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to generate data intended to commit fraud
  • Use generated data in production accounting environments
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or security measures
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Share account credentials or API keys with unauthorized parties
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written consent

5. Billing and Payments

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscription charges are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. One-time credits do not expire. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase.

6. Data Handling

All generated data is synthetic and does not contain real personal or financial information. Your QBO OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 with per-row initialization vectors. We do not access, store, or modify your actual QBO accounting data beyond what is necessary to load generated test data.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with:

  • Intuit QuickBooks Online — for data loading via OAuth 2.0
  • Stripe — for payment processing
  • Brevo (Sendinblue) — for transactional emails
  • Google and GitHub — for OAuth authentication

Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its source code, design, templates, and documentation, is the property of EasyTestData. You retain ownership of any configuration or custom scenarios you create. Generated synthetic data is not copyrightable and may be used freely for testing purposes.

9. Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not responsible for downtime caused by third-party services (Intuit, Stripe, cloud providers).

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EASYTESTDATA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms with notice. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
